Trapeze Desktop 9.76
Trapeze Desktop, the number one electronic consent assessment solution, has been updated and is ready for download. The team at Onstream have delivered in version 9.76, some of the frequently requested features and solutions our customers have asked for, including hyperlink support, performance improvements and more.
Trapeze 9.76 introduces support for PDF hyperlinks, transforming website URLs and internal document links, into clickable objects. Trapeze not only displays embedded links found within PDF documents, but will also automatically identify and make website URLs clickable for ease of use.
Advances in how Trapeze saves permanent annotations have resulted in a number of performance benefits, including faster saving times and smaller file sizes when saving documents including permanent annotations.
Users familiar with making Trapeze annotations permanent will have become accustomed to using the ‘Redaction’ option. While the option is used to make annotations permanent, the term ‘Redaction’ can be somewhat confusing when used in this context. It’s for this reason that the option is now known simply as ‘Permanent’ in 9.76, making the terminology consistent and easy to identify.
It’s important to note that for the purpose of removing sensitive information from documents, users should always use Trapeze’s three dedicated ‘Redaction’ tools for permanently removing marked text.
The printer groups feature provides a solution to the often time consuming task of printing pages to original size. In older versions of Trapeze, users printing varying page sizes were required to print the individual page sizes separately. With the introduction of Printer Groups, user defined printing rules allow Trapeze to automatically identify multiple page sizes within the same document and to print those pages at their original size.
The Overlays feature allows an organization to provide their staff with pre-configured overlays, typically used to perform key consent assessments, such as vehicle manoeuvring paths. With the ability to centrally manage overlays, automatically scale, and for staff to work on-screen, organizations can do away with physical overlay sheets and provide their staff with easy to use digital copies.
In addition to the core improvements found in Trapeze 9.76, there are a number of smaller changes and bug fixes included. Trapeze will now display a progress bar when opening larger documents over a network and the ‘Favourites’ menu can be floated, providing quicker access to frequently opened documents. We recommend upgrading at your earliest convenience to ensure the optimal Trapeze user experience.
Details on how to use the new features are included in the Trapeze User Manual. For any questions please contact us.
